About Me

I am a PhD student at Grenoble Université Alpes in cooperation with INRIA. My research topic is Neuro-Symbolic Integration of Knowledge Extraction and Reasoning on Graph-structured Data. I am interested in complementing deep learning methods with logic to integrate prior knowledge and improve interpretability. I thereby focus on graph-structured data, such as knowledge graphs. Further, I am interested in representation learning on graphs, particularly Graph Neural Networks and large-scale graphs.

My PhD is supervised by Nabil Layaida and Pierre Genevès of the Tyrex Team. My work is part of the French initiative Multidisciplinary Institute of AI (MIAI) promoting advancements in AI.

I hold a M.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Economics Engineering, both from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Other

From 2012 to 2018 I rowed competitively and was a member of the German U23 national team for two years. My greatest achievements include the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships in 2015 and a 7th place at the U23 World Championships 2016.
