About Me

I am a Research Associate (Postdoc) in the Tyrex Team at INRIA in Grenoble, France. My research is centered around neuro-symbolic integration on graph-structured data. I am interested in complementing deep learning methods with logic to integrate prior knowledge and improve interpretability. I thereby focus on graph-structured data, such as knowledge graphs. Further, I am interested in representation learning on graphs, particularly with graph neural networks and knowledge graph embeddings.

I have a PhD from Université Grenoble Alpes, supervised by Nabil Layaida and Pierre Genevès. I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Economics Engineering, both from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

From 2012 to 2018 I rowed competitively and was a member of the German U23 national team for two years. My greatest achievements include the bronze medal at the U23 World Championships in 2015 and a 7th place at the U23 World Championships 2016.
